The Festival of Women in the Arts was a grassroots celebration of art by, for and about women in the Southern Finger Lakes Area of Upstate New York.

The Festival encouraged collaborations between singers, schools, artists and cultural organizations. Performances took place throughout the Southern Tier Region during the month of March, Women's History month. Hundreds of artists performed for thousands of area residents. The Festival was the concept of director Will Wickham in 2008 and continued annually through 2013.

The Festival of Women in the Arts was made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts' Decentralization Program, administered locally by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes; the Allstate Hands in the Community Foundation, courtesy of Nagle Financial Services; and was sponsored by The Cantata Singers, with support from F. M. Howell & Company and Howell, Liberatore & Associates; and Glenora Wine Cellars.
